About PDF to Text Extractor
Copying text from a PDF by hand is tedious, especially for multi-page documents. This extractor uses PDF.js to read the text content layer of each page and concatenate it into a single copyable block. It works on PDFs that contain actual text objects (created by word processors, export tools, or typesetting software). It does not work on scanned PDFs, which are images of text — those require OCR software. The extraction runs entirely in your browser using PDF.js — no file is uploaded. Useful for copying content from reports, extracting data for further processing, or feeding PDF text into other ToolBrigade tools like the Word Counter or Find and Replace.
