About PDF Splitter
When you only need a chapter from a large report, or want to send specific pages of a contract without sharing the whole document, extracting a page range is the right approach. This splitter uses pdf-lib in your browser to load the PDF, detect its total page count, and copy only the pages you specify into a new document. After uploading, the tool shows the total page count and pre-fills the 'From' and 'To' fields with 1 and the last page. Adjust both fields to your target range — the From field is clamped to never exceed To, and To is clamped to the page count. Click 'Extract pages X-Y' and the new PDF downloads with the filename formatted as originalname-pages-X-Y.pdf. The entire operation runs in your browser with no server involved.
