About Color Palette Generator

Choosing colors that work well together requires understanding color theory. This generator produces 5-color palettes using five harmony types, all computed in HSL and converted to hex using a custom hslToHex function. Monochromatic: five lightness steps (20%, 35%, 50%, 65%, 80%) at the same hue and 70% saturation. Analogous: five hues spaced -30, -15, 0, +15, +30 degrees from the base. Complementary: three colors near the base hue and two near the complementary (base + 180°). Triadic: two colors each at 0°, 120°, and 240° offsets. Rainbow: five hues evenly spaced 60° apart. Set the base hue with a slider (0-359°) or click Random to randomise it. Click Generate to apply. Click any color swatch or its Copy button to copy the hex code. Designers building UI color systems, developers choosing brand colors, and anyone who needs a harmonious palette are the primary users.
