About WebP to JPG Converter
WebP is Google's modern image format — smaller than JPG at equivalent quality — but it still isn't supported by every app, email client, or platform. Older versions of Outlook, some CMS upload fields, and certain social media schedulers reject WebP files outright. This converter draws your WebP onto a Canvas element, fills the background white (so any transparent areas become white rather than black), then re-encodes it as JPEG at the quality level you choose with a slider (1–100, default 92). A side-by-side preview shows the original WebP and the output JPG before you download. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas toDataURL API — no file is sent to any server. Graphic designers exporting assets from Figma, developers debugging image pipelines, and anyone who received a WebP from a colleague and needs a JPG for a client deliverable are the typical users.
