About HEIC to JPG Converter
iPhones have shot photos in HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) format by default since iOS 11. HEIC files are roughly half the size of equivalent JPGs, but the format is not supported by Windows Photo Viewer, most Android apps, many web platforms, or older image editors. This converter uses the heic2any JavaScript library — loaded on demand in your browser — to decode the HEIC/HEIF container and re-encode it as JPEG at 92% quality. The conversion can take a few seconds for large files because the library does the full decode-and-encode cycle client-side. A loading indicator shows while processing. If the file is not a valid HEIC/HEIF, an error message is shown. The output is a standard JPG you can open anywhere. No file is uploaded — the heic2any library runs entirely in your browser tab.
