About Currency Converter
Getting an accurate currency conversion requires live exchange rates, not hardcoded values that go stale. This converter fetches rates on demand from the free exchangerate-api.com API using the source currency as the base. Enter an amount, select the source currency (From) and target currency (To) from dropdowns containing 30 major currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, CHF, CNY, INR, and more), then click Convert. The result shows the converted amount, the full precision rate (e.g. 1 USD = 0.923456 EUR), and the exact conversion. Rates are fetched live each time you click Convert — they are updated daily by the provider. An internet connection is required. Travellers checking exchange rates, businesses invoicing in foreign currencies, and anyone comparing prices across markets are the primary users.
